ThanksGiving 08
Submitted by tshofner on Sun, 12/07/2008 - 00:52.Alexa and I flew to Ky this year to celebrate with family there. Alexa got to meet her Aunt Mikel and her family, Uncle Scott and Aunt Tricia, Grandparents and even her Great Grandpa. I ate a cruelty free Tofurkey, sharing with my Aunt Dee who is moving toward veganism. I think even a few meat eaters enjoyed a taste. There was no shortage of delicious food and good conversation. After Dinner Alexa and I went to visit the Shofner's where Alexa was delighted by horses and now she won't stop talking about them. I see riding lessons in our future. I also had the great joy of seeing

Dinner with Santa at P. B. and Ellies
Submitted by tshofner on Fri, 12/21/2007 - 06:36.P. B. Ellies is a small child centered diner in Multnomah Village. They host both the dinner with Santa and New Year's in Rio so that parents can enjoy the celebrations with their little ones. The food is incredible too! Check out their website here for local fun!
Birthday and Halloween!!
Submitted by tshofner on Fri, 12/21/2007 - 05:06.Alexa got her first bicycle for her 3rd birthday! She's a riding fool too. I have a picture of her in her car seat decked out to ride, but all the riding was captured on video - to be added later. I also captured some nice images from another trip to the park a bit later.
We also spent a fab day with Daddy at the Punkin Farm. Alexa enjoyed the day immensely - she did it all, the maze, the patch, the centipede, the train, the boat ride back (with sea monster), and finally a little spider landed on her face to finish the day with smiles.
